The Story
The Solenne Crescent is a sculptural statement — curved yet structured, relaxed yet precise. Its warm cognac body and lighter tan upper panel create quiet contrast, allowing the natural patina of the leather to take centre stage. Worn crossbody or at the waist, its crescent silhouette follows the line of the body with effortless ease. This is a piece designed for movement.
The Fabric
Crafted from smooth, supple leather reclaimed from a Parisian Louis buttoned sofa that was recently reupholstered, the surface carries a naturally aged character with visible grain and soft creasing. The two complementary tones create depth without excess contrast. The finish enhances warmth without high gloss, allowing the material to continue developing patina over time.
The Making
The Solenne Crescent is constructed with a continuous curved body panel and a reinforced upper section for structure. The adjustable leather strap is secured with metal hardware for durability and balance. Clean edge finishing and precise stitching maintain the integrity of the form. The interior is finished with a contrasting green French mattress ticking lining and includes a dedicated phone pocket for considered functionality.
